St. Andrews in Betsy’s Church Updates New Host Church News familypromiselorainco.org CONTACT US 440-284-0494 We joyfully welcome St. Andrews as one of our new HOST churches. They stepped up to the plate in July and graciously made their building available to us. During that week our families did not have to stay in a motel. St. Andrews was able to observe the Hosting process while Family Promise staff recruited volunteers. St Andrews then partnered with Washington Street Christian Church and said YES to HOSTING on a short notice the week of September 14th. Rector June and all of the Volunteers focused on treating the guests with the LOVE and serving them as they would if Jesus was visiting their congregation. They arranged for the guests to have haircuts, a special pasta cook provided a meal; they projected a family movie on a big screen, visited the Apple Festival and provided clothing for one of the pregnant girls who arrived with nothing. Washington Christian Church assisted with preparing lunches and cooking meals for guests. The guests benefited from their positive attitude. Family Promise Newsletter:
