St. Vincent and the Grenadines went under in their first encounter of the CONCACAF U-15 Championship verses Antigua and Barbuda. Early dominance exhibited by the SVG was not capitalized upon and they found themselves one nil via a close range strike from Javorn Stevens. SVG would have missed a clear-cut tap in. Parity was restored in stoppage time of the first half as Tevin Davis mid-field lash caught the Antiguan custodian off his line. Both teams went hard at each other in the second half of play, with SVG showing greater dominance. They would fail to capitalize on the promising attacks and its Javorn Stevens whose solo counter-attack saw his low range shot crushing SVG hopes in the dying minutes of the match. SVG play in Group D along with Haiti, Martinique, Puerto Rico, El Salvador and Antigua and Barbuda.
