Starting this project was a bit daunting... i was not sure if there will be anyone to help me make a "personal" stand and try to pedal our way to a better fitness, more responsible take on commuting and hopefully score some good Karma points for the environment. Im glad that friends and family jump in! Here are the highlights of Project Vanmoof Philippines on its 1st month (from my point of view): - June 1: 10 units of vanmoof urban bicyles arrived - June 3: Launched Project Vanmoof Philippines - 1 bicycle goes to Eric Imperio -1 bicycle goes to Ana Marie Ravago and Djana Imperio -1 bicycle goes to Miko Aliño -1 bicycle goes to Jeanette Colet -1 bicycle goes to Monchet Diokno Olives -1 bicycle is reserved for Ivy Canlas -1 bicycle is reserved for Clark Aganon -1 bicyle is reserved for Axel Kornerup - 2 bicycles still available -@djana imperio- learns to ride a bike in 2 days and enjoys riding around with her sister @ana ravago - my nephews and nieces now enjoys taking turns riding bicycles around our village :) - I gained a riding buddy Jacques Jose who joins me on night cruises on his dependable folding bike So far, I have started cycling again on weekends for fitness as much as i can. If the weather permits, I use my urban bike for basic commutes (meetings within 5km radius, going to barbers, bank, store, etc) Since launching Project Vanmoof, I have logged a total of 257.6km which is equivalent to 77.28kg of CO2 emission saved :) That makes a combined 157kg for me and miko for the first month! I hope that the rest of the "moofers" do some pedaling and help log in some miles... go out there! make a statement! inspire others! e
