Status & Question for my fellow parents of children of the Spectrum and Special Needs in general: Grayson has been all smiles since I picked him up from school :)) annnnd they said he had a GREAT day today with no meltdowns or hurting other kiddos out of frustration! *fhew* I will admit...once he started to develop that behavior more and more at home and then I got the first note from his teachers that he was starting to get that way there as well and toward the other kiddos.. it made me very sad and also nervous when picking him up from school -always worried for how they would say his day was and if things would start getting worse .... I am still nervous for it and I know it could continue for a long time or slowly get worse but we are all on the same page on how to help him work through that frustration so hopefully the "tools" we use will continue to help him and be able to cope with his frustration without hurting himself or others. I know I do not have many followers yet, but for those of you who are parents of a child on the Spectrum of Special Needs..does your kiddo express aggression on him/herself or others when very upset and frustrated? If so, have you found any strategies that help them work through it and lesson the aggression?
