Steven tackled the weeding in garden three today, then off the the greenhouse to fill in the holes. I climbed the ladder and trimmed out a branch on the birch that has been growing so fast that it has shaded a lot of the garden. Reduced the major tree limbs to kindling and sent it to the recycle bin. Then proceeded to cut out a huge portion for a 100 year old lilac that has been overshadowing our vegetable garden. More kindling! Trimmed and topped the cherry trees---yet, more kindling. Tomorrow I hope to attack the overgrown lilacs, that have finished blossoming. Who said that my honey was the only one who knew how to prune? I just know WHEN!!!!!
