Still have tears in my eyes. Ever completely lost it? Had a moment when your heart aches & your tears spill & the heavens part for a second as you truly feel the Holy Spirit convict you? Jesus wept.One version of John 11:35 says He burst into tears. Glad Im not the only one :) Every once in awhile God interrupts your plans with His plans-that happened to me today. Right before I was supposed to preach. Whew. For all who witnessed it, I apologize for my mothers heart taking over....once you become a parent, something happens to your heart and when your kids hurt, you hurt. You would give your life for those you love. Just ask Jesus. Imagine how God feels as He looks down on us....His heart of love for His children is beyond our comprehension most days. I dont always feel His presence as strongly as I did today, but He reminded me that we cant run from His presence or His callings on our lives (sure, we can try-but Hell still come after us). As we move into 2015, Im praying that God helps you see what His calling is in your life-it may not be what you want or expect, but if Jesus could pray not my will but Yours be done, maybe we can too. Super thankful that weeping endures for the night but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5. Is it morning yet?! (for anyone who visited for the 1st time today,I really am not always that emotional when preaching Gods Word (although maybe I should be)-and Mike will be preaching again soon :) ) This song is part of what convicted my heart today in worship. From one who knows all too well-you can t run from His presence....so stop running. I recommend running into His arms & not away from them
