Story time. Because my hair is now the shortest its been since I was probably 5. And the only reason my hair was so short back then was I got something in it and the only solution was to cut it out. Does anyone remember Silly putty? That weird stuff that you could pick up your drawings with? (usually pink-ish in hue, like an eraser) Well, my older sister had just gotten a new egg of it (yep, it came in egg shaped casing) and it was this really pretty blue/glitter color. Naturally, being the awesome little sister I was, (And, having an earlier bed time) I played with it because I couldnt sleep yet and it seemed like the logical thing to do. (playing with my older siblings toys always seemed like a good idea... oops.) Eventually I got bored and decided it would be cool to smoosh it all over my right cheek, then promptly fell asleep like the little nugget of dorkyness I was. (I was basically like a kitten) And that being done, I woke up the next morning with a gross lump of hair and blue glitter silly putty in my hair. Good and stuck. I went to my mum and had that ever awkward conversation about what happened and after looking up several different ways of extraction we decided that cutting it was the best bet. For years after that I was fondly referred to as Shrubs by my older brother and sister. I hated that nickname almost as much as I hated being called a big-fat-purple-polar-bear-persuaded-by-Magogs-to-swim-in-blackberry-juice But thats another story. :P
