Straight from the Heart. Being a photographer - TopicsExpress

Straight from the Heart. Being a photographer it is always comfortable to shoot with film stars whom you know, for they trust me completely and believe that my camera will bring out that unseen part which was never shot before and that which will be remarkably outstanding and unique. I have always been successful in bringing out the best in people making them look so good in the final photograph. Every photograph that I take has a story of generations to say and I never rate or rank my shoots for every work that I did have been remarkable in a way. Shooting with Priyamani , Vimala raman, sada, Meghana, Anumol, Miya, and Jayasurya has always been a bash party and their sense of experimenting has helped me in getting the best out of them. With every costume they wear, they know what I expect and they give me that single striking pose which makes the difference. Celebrity photo shoot have always been a piece of cake. Everyone is different and shooting famous people is easier as the viewers already know them and is responsive to the familiarity. However, while shooting an infamous person the response depends more on the personality portrayed by the photographer. Shooting for STAR & STYLE magazine with Priyamani and Miss World 1st runner up Parvathy Omanakuttan was a success story of my career as the cover photos were seen all over South India and brought me so many appreciations. Celebrities and stars are people too. Their screen and red carpet presence is only a small part of their self where as the actual self may not be as pretty as what is seen. The camera is a machine and have features that can make the changeover for any person and all depends on the motive of the person who stands behind the camera. A lot depends on the talent of the person behind the lens. A celebrity may be dressed in the best casuals, expensive suit, best hair styling and with jewellery worth a million, but making them look good or bad depends on the mood and motive of the photographer. The photographer in me is happy only when they look at their own photographs and feel fascinated with what I have taken for them. Photography as a career is too hard, but there is nothing more than enjoying the work we do. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I love what I do and I’m not sure yet where I hope to go with my photography, Doing this job inspires me a lot and makes me stronger and confident to move forward with my ideas.
