Stuck for 7 hours in Jam in Delhi yesterday; Occasion: Ganpati - TopicsExpress

Stuck for 7 hours in Jam in Delhi yesterday; Occasion: Ganpati Visarjan I respect and understand the people having devoutness for Ganpati Bappa; I am also a theist and big follower of Ganpati but is it fair enough to go for a ‘Visarjan’ while you are drunk? If I would have to rate then 70% of the people were badly drunk yesterday for the Royal visarjan of Ganpati. Does Visrajan is just a fun factor for the young brigade of India, sorry to say but I couldn’t see devoutness with most of the teenagers and even with matured crowd I would say! God never says and expect to worship him and distraught others. What is the meaning of being drunk, while going for a good work? Why a troop of 100 people hanging on a truck on the way to Visarjan teases Girls walking on the road or sitting inside a car waiting for traffic jam to be cleared? Why girls on the Roads feels unsafe on such a occasions? Why people with their infants or small children should face problem? They never opt them for the visrajan never! Why an ambulance carrying a serious patience should stuck in traffic and keep waiting for dunkers to clear the way. I am not writing all this because I was stuck and wasted my 7 hours in traffic but I am pissed off because I was helpless and couldn’t do anything for the Ambulance that was stuck in traffic carrying a serious patient to the Hospital. It stranded on the road for more than 2 hours and I could easily see the faces of relatives of the patient with full of tension with a fear of losing their beloved one. This doesn’t end here, my patience came out with emotions when I saw traffic cops clearing the traffic for the admirers first neglecting Ambulance 100%. Later I realized, OH What the F**K, the cops became active suddenly because Delhi – Lahore Bus was about to pass that way. Once the bus passed away, cops got disappeared like “The horn on the head of a donkey vanished”. You want to know what happened with the Ambulance? It was still stuck there. I want to ask, what was most important to give the ways first -An ambulance carrying a 60 year old patient? -The admirers -A political leader passing across the way or -Delhi-Lahore bus Why people don’t try to understand their responsibilities? What people don’t try to learn with their experiences? Why parents allows their children to go, drink and distraught other with the name tag of Ganapati visarjan or any other similar occasion? Why cops don’t understand and able to make a difference between the situations and understand which one is more important to tackle first? Why they don’t do their duties properly? I really don’t know what happened later with the patient was in ambulance but wish he is well. Also, would like to request people, please try to understand, always give way to ambulance, be a civilized citizen, understand humanity this could happen with you also so understand your responsibility.
