Study: Northeast Women Do not Trust the Police, Judicial System Majority of women from North East India living and working in metro cities across the country do not have faith in the judicial system and the security forces, according to the findings of a study conducted by the Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi. The study to be submitted to the National Commission for Women was conducted on a Random Survey methodology of women students and professionals aged between 18-32 years during May to December 2013 in the city of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata. In a disturbing finding of the study, majority of the women do not have faith in the police and the judicial system.
