Summer Spanish Conversation Club. Whistler Public Library. ¿Hablas un poco español? Interested in practising Spanish this summer? Join the summer Spanish Conversation Club, participants will practice basics in Spanish dialogue. The club is perfect for anyone interested in traveling to a Spanish speaking country or learning some common Spanish phrases. This drop-in program is for the beginner learner as well for students who already speak some Spanish. Sessions will be held at the Whistler Public Library every second Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. There will be a special emphasis on feeling confident with Spanish pronunciation as well as communicating about everyday topics. The sessions are drop in (no registration required) and for all ages. This club is free to the community and compliments language class programming by the Whistler Arts Council. About the Club Facilitator: Farha relocated permanently to Whistler this past Spring from the UBC campus in Vancouver. She has studied Spanish intensely at the university level for many years and has been a volunteer Spanish instructor in the past.
