Sunday 10:00 am update Good morning friends. We had a relatively good night last night. Kristina was wide awake until 1:00 this morning so I stayed up and enjoyed the time with her. Through the night her blood pressure dropped a little, so they started her on a blood pressure medicine again and it went way up. The doctor was in this morning and wanted to take her off of the med and administer more fluids, as dehydration will cause blood pressure to drop. They came this morning and did an ultrasound on her legs just to be sure there are no blood clots. I didnt hear any results yet, but I dont think well have any issues there. Physical therapy was here and got a little motion out of her feet but not much else. Again, her hemoglobin level is low, so energy is probably a factor. Her red blood cell count did go up some from yesterday, so her body is making cells. Respiratory is here now and going to try to let her do a little breathing on her own today. Yesterday she was unable to sustain on her own, but it is a long process to weaning her from the ventilator. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. Thank you for your prayers and support. God bless.
