Sunday... I could not sleep well last night. It was close to midnight when I read the e-mail sent to me by a pastor friend of mine in Galena. After trying to sleep, I awoke and just spent time in the Lord and reading His Word. I grabbed a spiral notebook I use when God shares a word directly from both His Word and the Holy Spirit to me, and Isaiah 40 jumped right out of the pages of my Bible. God spoke to me about what He wants us all to do based on it. Ill share it in part with you tonight: My people, I the Lord know you are pressed on all sides. Im here to bring you comfort. I want you to know that if you CALL ON ME through Jesus Christ, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, I will FORGIVE you of ALL of your sins. My son has paid your sentence of death IN FULL. You need to receive this as a free gift from My hand. I am the voice crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord. If you call on me, I will make your path straight. I will create for you a paved highway that goes straight to Me. Every valley will be raised up. Every mountain brought down. Nothing can block you from my presence. No sin or strife can keep you from My glory. I will smooth out the rough places in your life, and make them level like a plane. I will reveal my glory to you, and hide nothing from you. Every eye will see my glory. This is what the Lord speaks over you: Cry out to Me! You might ask, What do you want me to cry out, God? Heres My answer to you. All of humanity is like the grass of a field. All their splendor and glory are seen as beautiful flowers. But soon, when I breathe on them, the grass will wither, and the flowers will fade away. So too will your flesh someday die. Life is short. But MY WORD shall NEVER pass away! I want you to look up and share the Good News to Zion, even unto Jerusalem... My Gospel... My Good News! My people need to dwell where I live and be in My presence. Lift up this Good News. Shout it out loud! Share it with EVERYONE! For I, the Lord, am HERE! I am with you. EMBRACE ME! I am soverign over you. I want to be in every facet of your life. I love you. I want you to be empowered by Me. For the strong arm of my Spirit rules for Me. I have REWARD for you if you follow after Me. My mighty works follow you wherever you go. I am the Good Shepherd that takes care of you, little flock. I want to carry you in My arms and My heart like lambs. I want you CLOSE TO MY HEART. For those that have their own young, I desire to be your leader and your guide. FOLLOW ME! Ill need to stop here for today. But this is what God wants for all of us daily. This is based on Isaiah 40, versus 1 through 11. Meditate on this directly through His Word, and let God speak to you today and through the week. Love and Gods richest blessings from beautiful Alaska!
