Sunshiney Day would be the words used to describe today. For today would be post week 2 pre-season, what a crackerjacker of a workout. Hardcore touch, not for the faint hearted, pitch sprints, gotta love ‘em, because if you hate them they just keep getting harder, and then to wrap up more speed. YES PLEASE!!! I believe my personal modern day miracle may have occurred last night, albeit, in the blink of an eye, no drops because I wasn’t paying attention as usual, a natural phenomenon, yes, a triple blast of tries, an opening of the Viking Quads and Hammies to find the touchline underneath my fleeting feet, breaking lines of defence, opening up holes like a tin of ravioli. Take it away Frankie Valley . . . Onto this morning, and the Pre-Prep for another session of power at Ainslie Wood Primary School. For both days we would see the Year 3s picking up where they left off. I don’t know if it’s the way I teach them but these kids have some great feet, speed, and hand skills. They’re passing and jumping is fantastic, their footwork through the Ladders of Thor, amazing!! Great afternoon’s work and a real pleasure to bring our Great game to the local heartland of E4, for Rugby should, must, and forever be at the heart of Sport in E4. This is the mission of the Scandinavian with a “Suntan”( not so white now!!!), to bring about a return to the Primaries and Secondaries of our great postcode this our wonderful game and what a great “Team” game it is where everybody is involved. “Glory is only measured by the effort and passion of the team not the individual” – Viking Psalm 2.1.3 Thank you for your time, gently digest these passages of inspiration over a cuppa and a Hobnob and you can become one with the Nordic!! Good day, until next time!!
