Super Middleweight Mike Tufariello, in his pro debut, came out like a bull and charged Kyle Fancher (0-4) from the onset landing big body blows. Fancher sustained the first attack and started to land some of his own shots from the outside using his height and reach on the stocky Tufariello. Tufariello rushed in again and this time dropped Fancher in the corner with more brutal shots to the body. Fancher somehow got to his feet as Tufariello jumped on him again and put him back on the canvas with, what else, body shots, as Referee Laurence Cole waived it off. Fancher laid on the canvas for several minutes as doctors attended to him in the ring. The doctor at ringside called it the devastating liver shot that did in Fancher. Tufariello earned his win as a pro in dramatic fashion with the KO victory at 1:54 of the 1st round.
