Superintendents Corner Last night, the school board approved a plan that raised the starting pay for new teachers from $33,000 to $38,000, and, set a maximum pay of $81,030. Teachers who are above the top of the new pay scale (above $81,030) will have their pay cut to the new scale. As you may know, both Standley Lake and Conifer High Schools were closed today due to a significant number of absences on the teaching staff. I’m not going to speculate on why teachers were absent....
