Swampies, Such a bittersweet day, I said goodbye to my seniors, - TopicsExpress

Swampies, Such a bittersweet day, I said goodbye to my seniors, one a class student who has been with me for the past four years, and my wonderful peer tutors who I have had since their sophomore years. As, a student I never realized how much most of my teachers cared, and that they too shed tears when that last day came around. Now, don’t get me wrong I am so ready for Summer Break, but I am going to miss those who are not returning, they are part of my extended family. No, matter where you work and when told to detach yourself from those whom you care for, it is truly impossible, we are human beings, we have emotions, and we grow to love and care no matter what. So, I wish my seniors good luck in whatever endeavor they seek out to grow to the full potential I know each possesses. Some of you I will lose touch with, that are part of life; others I do believe will continue to be in my life. Both ways what a privilege and blessing it has been for me a gift from God that each of you has touched my life. So go my beautiful dragonflies, spread your wings and dance among the lily pads and shine, for you are truly fearfully and marvelously made by the Lord. To Crissy, Angel, Kyle, Lexi, Taylor, Amber, CJ, Scott, Jacob, Maxine and Andrea those not returning I am so proud of each of you, plus so many more. Peace and Love Sayin Congrats to the Class of 2013……Gracie
