Sweet Lila came to us from the Gordon County shelter back in August. She was emaciated, full of milk (we were told her puppies died), full of heartworms and internal parasites AND had a broken front leg. Poor Lila. Despite all of this, she was a happy, smiling, tail-wagging girl from the moment we met her. You simply wont meet a sweeter dog. Lila has completed her heartworm treatment, and shes fit as a fiddle now. There was some concern that her crooked front leg may have to be amputated, but shes getting around great and not in any pain. We will just leave her be until further treatment warrants. Should her leg require attention down the road, we would cover the cost of that (as long as its done by our vet). Lila is ready for her forever home! Shes practically perfect, personality-wise.
