TEENAGE GIRL RAPED BY TENANT IN UTTARAKHAND August 30, 2014 - 15:47 Dehradun: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped for eight months by her tenant in Haridwar district, police said on Saturday. The accused identified and arrested from Jwalapur area of the district yesterday after the victims mother lodged a complaint charging him of raping her daughter for eight months, they said. The girl kept the matter to herself all these months as the accused had threatened to kill her if she disclosed it to anyone, they said quoting the complaint lodged by the victims mother. The accused, a labourer, was living as a tenant in the victims house since an year, police said.
