TELL US WHAT YOU THINK: Age limit for judges Michigans chief justice says he supports an age limit for judges but believes it probably could be raised to account for longevity and advances in medicine. A number of Michigan judges didnt seek another term in November because the states Constitution says candidates cant run if theyve turned 70. Chief Justice Robert Young Jr. says hes not in favor of eliminating an age restriction. What do you think? Should the age limit for judges be dropped entirely? If not, what should the limit be?
