THANKS to Daniel A. Brown for shooting me the link to this unofficial, unauthorized, unconventional, un-2014 Folio Weekly un-Jazz Fest Kickoff show at 1904 Music Hall; I patiently assembled this small team of unlikely superheros, we gnashed and flurried throughout [see: large, wet, non-absorbent, ostrich egg noodles in a commercial dryer], we piled and pummeled ferociously with a delicate and often-playful banter (rarely noticeable, always forgotten), and in the end, our loving and familial smiles could melt, poach, and country-fry the heart of every living (and deceased) critic we have (or will/not) acquired [Google: Jack Rebney].
