THE CHIKEN HAS COME HOME TO ROOST. I watch in amusement the attack on the Berom nation by some of our internet warriors and I wonder if we are not missing the mark. All that we call injustice today started during the last LG Elections when some elders where invited to Jos and encourage to ensure consensus candidates. In Most of these meetings not all the aspirants were invited. ( At least I was a participant in the election but never got invited) unpopular candidates in some L G A s were forced on the people. Most of us shouting injustice today did not see anything wrong then because to some it serves the purpose of having their immediate kinsmen on sit of power. We tend to forget that an injustice to one is an injustice to all.the seed of what we are witnessing today was sown then. Now that it is affecting us,some of us that hitherto were involve in a grand conspiracy of silence are shouting NO...NO The reality is that you cant stop the North or Berom from presenting candidates. You can only reject them at the polls. Meanwhile most of these warriors has not visited their respective villages in the past 3 months. I wonder how we are going to galvanize the local population for the expected real resistance on the political field? I as a person hate injustice because the argument of Adaji starting from where it ended is not tenable. Lar and Tapgun where governors when the then Plateau and Nasarawa state were one, even at that cumulatively they had only six years. Since the beginning of this republic nobody from the southern Plateau has been at the helm of affairs. I will advice all the internet warriors attacking the Berom Nation to redirect their energy by going to their villages and campaign for the candidates of their choice after all their are some in the Northern Plateau that will vote for candidates from the South and vice versa.
