THE DEU IN CONJUNCTION WITH GEORGETOWN COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES ARREST TWO (Georgetown, SC) --- As a result of citizen complaints, and a subsequent investigation, Agents of the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), assisted by the Georgetown County Sheriff’s I.C.E. team and Andrews Police Department, served a drug related search warrant on November 10, 2014 and arrested brothers Willie Williams and Raheem Williams of the Andrews Community of Georgetown County. During the search warrant, at 625 North Beech Avenue, Agents discovered crack cocaine, marijuana, scales and packaging materials. Arrested and charged were: • Raheem Williams, DOB 09/08/1979, Two (2) Counts Distribution of Crack Cocaine, Two (2) Counts Distribution of Crack Cocaine within ½ mile of a school or park, Possession of Crack Cocaine with the intent to Distribute and Possession of Crack Cocaine with the intent to Distribute within ½ mile of a school or Park. . • Willie Williams, DOB 11/01/1994, Two (2) Counts Distribution of Marijuana, One (1) Count Distribution of Marijuana within ½ mile of a school or park, Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute and Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute within ½ mile of a school or park. Both Williams were transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center. Raheem Williams was previously convicted of Crack Distribution and these new charges are second offenses. The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit, Georgetown Office, is funded by a SC Department of Public Safety grant. The DEU is comprised of numerous agencies with the 15th Judicial Circuit.
