E-mail is ideal for issuing company-wide messages, or distributing promotional material to clients. However, not all companies consider electronic messages official, and many will only recognize hard copies of the message. Other forms of electronic communication include fax and video conferences. A video conference is a popular method for companies with international clients – it allows them to transact internationally without spending time and money on business travel. One-way and two-way Corporate communication can be one-way or two-way. One-way communication – communication where no reply is expected – can be as simple as a command to turn off appliances when not in use. One-way messages are usually limited to internal communication (within the company; i.e. between departments). Two-way communication is one where you want a reply or acknowledgment in response to your message.
