THE N-WORD!!! Growing up in a prodominatly conservative white suburb, this conversation arose a lot! Black kids using the word moreso than others, I feel, to appear more urban that not. I heard White kids using the word out of malice as well as in relaxed conversation. Even to this day, sometimes it happens with a white girl saying WUS UP MY NIGGA! I have to take a minute to decide if Im upset or not... which I usually just let it go, but a part of me still hates it! When you hear someone say the n-word or when YOU say it, does it make you uncomfortable? Do you spark a conversation about it? When conversations do arise, what are some arguments that you hear?
