THE PIONEERS REALLY NEED YOUR SUPPORT THIS AFTERNOON! The AACC men’s basketball team takes on Prince George’s CC in the Region 20 championship game today at 3 p.m. at Prince George’s CC, 301 Largo Rd, Largo MD 20774. The game is in the Novak Field House and will follow the women’s championship at noon. We need fans in the stands! (Please expect an admission fee.) The winner of today’s game earns the Region 20 championship trophy, and advances to the NJCAA District 7 tournament on March 1-2, 2014. The district tournament is a playoff of the champions from Regions 10, 17, and 20 to determine the team who will advance to the NJCAA national championship at Sullivan County CC, N.Y. Mar. 13-15, 2014. This year the District 7 tournament is hosted by the winner of Region 10, which is comprised of teams from West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
