THE ROYAL BIRTH Children are born everyday but not all have had that privilege. Others its not by their wish and are only victims of life circumstances but where others its by choice. Every birth should make a mother or father somehow a proud person and people around should rejoice with them. But there are some births that captures the attention of many people and of such births is the birth of the son of prince William and Catherine. The boy is deemed to be third in line of the kingship of England. The news about the birth of this baby has rocked the media houses in volumes hard to put in words. One statement made by the journalist covering the event on channel France 24 said, "This boy shall be separated from the real world to be trained all his life to be a possible king some day". And I said to my self " what a statement!". In my mind I thought of a King who has always lived a life of supreme privilege and at their demand, most of their wants are met, how can such an individual properly attend to the affairs if its citizen? The REAL ROYAL BIRTH took place 2000 years ago in a humble manner, born in a manger. This child was not born as a possible king but as the reigning King. And his kingship was not for a single nation but for all humanity, and its duration is for eternity. His birth was not just worthy of our celebration but of our worship. The king baby was not separated to enjoy human privileges but lived with the common people and felt their pain and sorrows. He saw and felt our struggles not just patterning sin but even our life struggles. Yet with all these qualities of the real royal baby, many people still spit in his face and ignore Him. He still calls out to the world to look to Him and not to look at Him. JESUS THE KING OF KINGS
