THE SITUATION LOOKED HOPELESS: I have been in design school for two years. Last school quarter, I was told that my remaining six classes to obtain my degree WOULD NO LONGER BE offered at night. I was distraught to say the least. I went to the fashion director, the dean of students, the president of the school, school headquarters, and accreditation of schools. I got no answers. One teacher (not a former teacher) told me to quit, (in so many words) and maybe I could go to school at later time and during the day. I did not stop calling, I even sought out to go to a different campus, and there were no classes in my program offered at night anywhere. After going around and around with everyone, one day while on vacation from work I was driving home from downtown, the Fashion Director called me, “I got a message from you again, is this about the classes, I said yes, I’m sorry Pam” . I cried all the way home. Before I went to bed that night, The Holy Spirit clearly spoke to me, “Pray for them, pray that do not sleep until they find a solution” I prayed that prayer. The next morning I was impressed to call the President of the School again, I called left a message… he called me back 2 hours later, “Pamela this is President Pond, and I want you to know I am not ignoring you… We are working on a plan just for you, and you will graduate”… I got an e-mail 2 weeks later, “You are now enrolled in [Draping- 3D Patternmaking] you will have a Direct Study ONE on ONE with the Draping Teacher, at 6:00 p.m.” Prayer is the Answer to All things in Life…
