And so it would happen, as a result, that CAT became to hate OWL. Hence, it would easily happen that OWL became to hate CAT too, and so that tried to harm each other; that is, that they were at odds with each other. But an affect of sadness is always passive. Therefore, OWL and CAT, insofar as they were torn apart by the affect, could be at odds with each other. CAT hated OWL, his folks and their tongue. And OWL hated CAT, his folks and their tongue. Knowing that life is short, How did they quarrel? OWL and CAT came to see Spinoza, a wandering dog of sage, and talked their quarrels.
