THIS IS A RANT YOU DONT HAVE TO READ IT BUT IF YOUVE EVER BEEN EFFECTED BY CANCER ANYWHERE IN YOUR LIFE YOU SHOULD THOUGH. DONT SLEEP AMERICA...ESPECIALLY CANCER PATIENTS.... YOU COULD BE GETTING WELL BUT IT COST TOO MUCH. I have known for years pharmaceutical companies profit from illness, but just this week there was an episode of 60 minutes I saw, that pointed it out clearly, and Im glad Im able to share the article. They have a Cancer medication that can literally turn the disease on its head yet they wont produce it because they say its too expensive. Lets be really honest here, losing money from people being cured is a greater expense to the pockets of those who wish to keep you ill. Correct me for being ignorant but isnt the point of going into science understanding and improving the world and isnt the point of being a Dr. to make someone healthier so that they and move on with life? Thats what I always thought. Not only do they not want to produce the medication that gets you well, they are going up on the prices on the old medication that doesnt work tenth as good as the newer. In the hood we call that TRIFlING!!! It makes me LIVID, having had a father and uncle both who died of cancer. Stop calling yourselves doctors, health care professionals, and scientist if you know you are only watching people die just so you can fatten your bank account, in my book you are being nothing short of heartless assholes. Its like youre holding the ice water in your hands for a man crawling through the desert, suffering from dehydration, only for you to throw the water out before he can reach for the cup. WE ARE THE ONLY COUNTRY THAT DOES THIS!!!
