THIS IS THE LIFE The life of Jesus was the kind of life we were meant to live. He participated in work, rest, thought, the outdoor world, friends, children, sickness, trouble, and everything in a natural but moral way. He was unsociable only in sin. He could not be unnatural and cross his Fathers good and holy will. He gave the naturalness, the super-naturalness, of his life to cure the unnaturalness of ours. He related himself to sin only to remove it and redeem us from its power so that God might again say, very good of all nature and paradise is regained. This is a glorious thought and we cannot make what Jesus did one bit better but we can strive so that God would say, very good of our labor. Some may have not been very good toward us but let them face their own music. Let them stand where they may but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. This is doable for all you have to do is follow His footsteps. He has tried the way before us and helps us along the way. What more can you ask for? Off you go.
