THIS MIGHT GET LONG BUT HOPEFULLY WORTH THE READ, 8 weeks ago I left New Orleans as an Ironman 70.3 finisher. No doubt this was one of the top accomplishments in my life behind my kids, my wife, and Jesus of course. So why did I take the last 8 weeks off? Well I didnt intentionally take this long off, but when you spend over a year straight of your life training for races, its kinda nice to not be training for something for a little while. You see i didnt set out on this journey to become a runner and def not to become a triathlete. But God had other plans for me and Ive met the most amazing people in this journey and he has given me an awesome platform to tell others about what Im able to accomplish only by His Grace, Mercy, and Love. Today I left New Orleans ready to get back on track and get moving again. I actually biked and ran this morning. Yeah you heard me. Ive got races and goals again and actually signed up for another Ironman. But this time is gonna be different, Im gonna do everything right. Proper Nutrition being the main thing(you cant put bad and crappy fuel in your car and expect good results), and also actually following all of my training plan! Im gonna try to rely more on self motivation this time around, but all of your encouragement and especially prayers are most appreciated. I gained weight while training for my Ironman 70.3 and def gained some during the last 8 weeks of being fat and lazy. Its time to reach the weight loss goals i set out for at the start of all this. There will be much pain, soreness, sweat, and tears Im sure but it will all be worth it. Here we go again! #Under300ComingSoon #JesusIsMyHomeBoy
