THIS has to be the BEST macaroni and cheese I have EVER made!!! Great for holidays or anytime you want to feed a crowd (or indulge in a special treat on Sunday afternoon!) SWEETIE PIES BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE 1 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked al dente 1 cup whole milk 2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk 3 eggs 1/2 cup sour cream 1 stick butter, cut into small pieces 8 oz. Colby cheese 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut in chunks salt to taste 1 tablespoon white pepper 1 tablespoon sugar 1 cup shredded American cheese or 1 cup mild cheddar cheese (for top) Directions Preheat oven to 350°. Mix milks and eggs well. Add the butter and Colby, Monterey jack, sharp cheddar and Velveeta cheeses to the pasta. Pour milk and egg mixture over the cooked pasta. Season with salt , pepper, sugar and toss. Pour into deep baking pan. (Spray with PAM) Sprinkle with remaining cup of American or Cheddar cheese. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
