TIES THAT BIND One day,month of September 1976 a new young teacher reported to our school kimangao primary,he brought with him a young family,his wife and two young daughters .1977 i was promoted to class two and the young teacher happened to be our class teacher he singled me out- a tiny boy and the youngest in class,he appointed me the head class monitor,he introduced me to his wife and instructed her to be serving me lunch as i dropped our exercise books in his house for marking,he nicknamed me (kamusee)and we really went on very well with him .He was crestfallen when i informed him that i was to transfer schools as per my fathers wishes to a newly opened school mbangwani.That teacher was called MR.MASAI and was from either Tseikuru,mivukoni or kyuso east areas.I understand he retired a few years back and one of his daughters graduated from one of the public university also years back.anybody who knows this mwalimu should conduct me for he made me taste real authority at a tender age.(keeping a class of 40 noisy kids quiet for fear of viboko)....FOR THESE ARE THE TIES THAT BIND US....
