TODAY: crews will be moving barriers and closing the right lane on eastbound I-94 as they begin preliminary work to construct an additional ramp from the 25th Street South bridge. This closure is expected to last for 3 weeks. This on ramp will allow northbound 25th Street South traffic to merge onto I-94 eastbound without crossing oncoming traffic. Throughout this closure on I-94, the speed will be 40 mph. Westbound I-94 lane closures will be removed and all three lanes of traffic are expected to be open on Tuesday. The ramp and complete 25th Street Reconstruction project is expected to be completed in November, weather permitting.
