He is considered one of the forerunners of contemporary art in Vietnam and was one of the first to explore installation and performance art. ... His video work ‘Flowing’ was recently shown at the Guggenheim Museum, NYC, in the exhibition ‘No Country: Contemporary Art for South and Southeast Asia.” It was also exhibited at ‘The Second Fukuoka Asian Triennale’ 2002 and subsequently purchased by the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.
