Now is the time for her lecture series in which she will uncover not only her studies plus her own identity. TITS by Prof G is a lecture comedy written and performed by Ege Maltepe, a Turkish actress who studied acting under the guidance of Mike Nichols in New York City. “The whole idea for the show started as a joke; a weird and extremely serious Turkish professor is in New York City. She’s obsessed with her research on breasts and keeps calling them tits!” says Maltepe and adds, “However as I started to dig into the subject, I realized that I’ve hit an iceberg. She came to New York on Fulbright scholarship and received her MA in Acting as a student of Mike Nichols. Ege is the curator for theatrical matinees in West Village’s 31 year old Caffe Vivaldi, also the co-founder of Classical For All with her classical musician husband. Ege is currently getting ready to perform her one woman show, TITS , in which she plays a Turkish professor researching the social importance of breasts. egemaltepe Salon Solo {Radio}: Anastasica Golenishcheva Ms. Golenishcheva was born in Saint-Petersburg and started her performing career during her studies in Petrozavodsk State Conservatory. By the age of 17 has been accepted in the Karelian State Philharmonic Orchestra. A winner of many prestigious competitions in Europe, she was performing as a soloist with orchestra, with chamber ensembles and as an orchestra musician. In 2012 Ms. Golenishcheva moved to USA where she continues her studies with professor G. Genovker and continues to perform as a soloist and with New Yorker Trio. As a musician Ms. Golenishcheva performed in such stages as a Avery Fisher Hall, Merkin Hall, Caffe Vivaldi. As a chamber musician, she is a member of New Yorker Ensemble and the cellist of New Yorker Trio. And as a member of Urban Orchestra she took a part in hip hop project in such stages as a Blue Note Club and Brooklyn Academy of Music to show her diversity as a musician.
