TOPIC: LET US ALL CONTINUE TO PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. -THE SCRIPTURE- Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count myself not to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the price of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by same rule, let us mind the same thing……EPHESIANS 3:12-16. -THE MESSAGE- People of God, at such a time as this, it is needful for all that name the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to strive to remain on course. For the days are evil indeed, and the days ahead are bound to be even more perilous. For satan is desperate to go down with as many as would be enticed by the sinful pleasures that this life has to offer even on a daily basis. And the very elect may not even be spared! Brethren, I desire also that we mark them, even within and amongst us, who walk not according to the doctrines of Christ. Indeed many are walking, but they are hidden enemies of the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Of course such folks are bound for eternal destruction; but we must not allow ourselves to be lured into their snares. Just mark them – for their glory is in their shame, their own God is their belly – and they mind earthly things! From such depart, not even to eat. Let us all work out our salvation with fear and trembling, even as the prophets and apostles of old – looking up to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our common faith. For He is God Who indeed worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. It is needful that all that are looking unto Jesus Christ and His appearing come to this understanding, that whosoever would live righteously must face all manners of persecution in this very life. But the enemies of righteousness will continue to wax stronger and stronger: being so deceived and even deceiving others. Do not envy the wicked, do not seek to be like them – and do not rejoice in their sinful testimonies. Brethren, our Father in heaven created us for His pleasure and only for His pleasure. Let us therefore not pursue what gives us pleasure but what gives Him pleasure: for therein lies our peace. Our singular desire must always be to do His perfect will. And if you are amongst those who are still searching for their purpose in this life, and you are a believer: know it this very day that your purpose does not necessarily lie in what makes you happy or in what you find joy in doing; your purpose and my purpose in Christ are this – to do His perfect will, whether it gives us joy or not. Remain blessed forever.
