United are in the market for a defender and have also been linked with Borussia Dortmunds Mats Hummels, Athletic Bilbao starlet Aymeric Laporte and West Hams Winston Reid. However, Spanish website Fichajes believes that Uniteds impending £20m winter bid for Miranda is likely to tempt the Atletico board into selling. Sunderland are winning the race to sign Galatasaray winger Bruma, who has been dubbed the new Ronaldo. The Black Cats are ready to meet Galatasarays £8m asking price for the Portuguese starlet. Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United are all chasing the 20-year-old. Hoffenheim believe they will keep hold of Roberto Firmino and Kevin Volland until next summer. Liverpool are chasing the duo but are likely to face competition from Chelsea and Manchester United for Firmino. Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rose said: We know that we can not keep them with us until the end of their careers and teams who have significant market offerings, but no we think about it. In the summer well see. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on Hamburg midfielder Tolgay Arslan ahead of a potential free transfer move next summer. Wenger is eager to sign a defensive midfielder to compete with Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta and the Gunners have previously been linked with Sporting Lisbon hardman William Carvalho, who has a £37m release clause. However, the Daily Mail claims that Arsenal have sounded out Arslans agent with the player available on a free transfer next summer.
