TROOP C – TRAFFIC ADVISORY January 25, 2014 *Roads Begin to Reopen for the Troop C Area* US 90 has been reopened in both directions for travel in the Troop C area along with the LA 182 Amelia Bridge, St. Charles Bridge, Bellevue Bridge, and the Rita Bridge crossing Bayou Lafourche. There are still several bridge closures in the Troop C area. The duration of the closures are currently unknown and will remain closed until it is safe for vehicle traffic. Closures: St. James Parish: - LA 70 at the Sunshine Bridge is CLOSED St. John Parish: - LA 3213 at the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge is CLOSED Due to the multiple road closures and re-openings throughout the state and Troop areas, we recommend that you use one of these options to help with your road closure questions: - You can log onto lsp.org/roadclosure.html to access the Louisiana State Police Road Closure page on our website, or find it under the “Alerts” tab on the main page. - You can call 511, or log onto 511la.org to access the Department of Transportation and Developments travel information. - You can also subscribe to Nixle Alerts for real time updates on roadway closures, crash locations, and pertinent safety information for your region.
