TROYS SONG OF THE DAY: Bennie Hess Boogie by Bennie Hess. Born in 1914, dad was taught how to play guitar by the Father of Country Music Jimmie Rodgers, when dad was just a kid! Dad later went on to form his own band, & by the early 40s, dad began recording!! He went on to record for Mercury Records, & had a prosperous stint as a record producer, producing Kenny Rogers, Floyd Tillman, Ray Doggett, & several others!! This is actually a 78 recording.... A record that was before 33s & 45s , recorded back in the late 40s.
