TROYS SONG OF THE DAY: ( special dedication to dingy Harry, & Wendy Davis!!) - Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. Founded in 1970 with 4 members which included Freddy ( Farrokh Bulsara) Mercury; the band were a huge success in the UK, before crossing into the U.S.. Their 1st # 1 hit was 1975s Bohemian Rhapsody, which stayed # 1 for 9 weeks! Another was written by Queen bassist Brian Deacon, who claims the inspiration for the song came from a 1970s disco hit Good Times by the band CHIC. The bass lines are very similar!!! Michael Jackson actually suggested to Mercury that Queen should release the song as a single. The song went on to garner the # 1 position in Billboard, & managed to get in the top of the charts in all genres except country music. It went on to be Queens best selling single, selling over 7 million copies. From their 1980 album The Game, I offer the song that kept playing through my head last night after each election result came in!!!
