TSCC Advent Devotional for Friday, December 20 is from Lindsey Morrison Freshman at Palm Beach Atlantic University Read Psalm 80: 1-7, 17-19 How blessed are we that we are able to have strenuous wholeness in this broken world. We can cling to the promise of our Abba Father because in him we find peace. Today is a day to rejoice and be glad that we have a peace that sustains us and makes us whole. Strenuous wholeness is a gift we should cherish. It is far better than happiness or excitement or any emotion that is temporary. Keep your eyes fixed and do not be shaken. We will face struggles and hardships. Through these trials, though, we are never broken and never in discord. God’s strenuous wholeness is a gift we should cherish. So today sit in gratitude and reflect on our loving God. Father God, we come to you today with a heart of gratitude and fullness; thank you for the peace you give to us. Thank you for filling us with strenuous wholeness. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on you and the truth that you have shown us today. Lindsey Morrison Freshman at Palm Beach Atlantic University
