(TT Oct 7.) Not buildings, not nature, but two of the most important people in my lifetime. My dad and mom that have taught me to have faith, as well as the whole gamut that comes with life, whether it be the most happiness of extremes, or the lowest. Dad, three times in two wars, Korea, two tours in Nam. Korea, age 15, stole his brothers ID and enlisted, sent to the Korean war front. T-Bone. Somehow, the Army found out the day before his 17th birthday! Honorable discharge, & he reenlisted the next day. :-) Met mom while stationed at Ft. Riley KS. Little country girl that whistled at him when he happened to be in this area as best man as a fellow GIs wedding. ;-) Sent to Germany, mom followed as a Mrs. at the age of 18. Had this beautiful little baby girl, (me,) ;-) Back to the states, a kinda cute brother came along there. ;-) Dad then served two tours in Vietnam. The first as an Advisor in 64, then went back in 69 for a 2nd tour. I remember both times when he was gone. My mom had the most faith I ever saw, very strong woman. Now, we have faith too, as my mom has Alzheimers. Almost 58 years for these two special folks, and my dad is a saint, as this is a war he cannot fight. Faith, Love, & just day by day. FAITH. NE Morris.
