TUESDAY EVENING WEATHER UPDATE Chilly temps continue for Wednesday, Snow builds into Labrador & Snow for Newfoundland this Weekend? More details below.... WEDNESDAY: Another chilly one across the Province, with temps in the low single digits across the Island and temps below zero in Labrador. Chance of wet flurries & showers along the West Coast & South Coast of the Island. Clouds and Snow build into Labrador through the day with 2-5 cm on the way to Lab West by supper time Wednesday & another 5-10 cm set for Wed night. LAB SNOW Snowfall totals from Lab West across to the North Coast will be in the 8-15 cm range by Thursday Evening. Happy Valley-Goose Bay and the Southeast 3-8 cm with a mix to showers in the Straits and Southeast. The ECMWF Euro model projection has been posted below. WEEKEND LOW If youve been checking out the long range forecast on Here & Now this week, then youve heard me talking about an interesting setup for this Saturday over the Island. As a low moves in from the South well see the potential for Snow on the West & South sides of the system for Saturday & Saturday night. As always, the track & strength of this system will be key as forecast models continue to shuffle on those all important nitty gritty details. Its only Tuesday, but its certainly looking like the chance for some accumulating snow & some developing gusty winds over Central, Northeastern & Eastern Newfoundland, again depending on the track. Stay tuned! :) Ryan #nlwx
