TUESDAYS COASTAL STORM (NOREASTER) The European model continues - TopicsExpress

TUESDAYS COASTAL STORM (NOREASTER) The European model continues to hammer away at the idea of a heavy rain, gusty wind event for the Delaware Valley. I still like 1-3 of rain, 40+ mph wind gusts (especially down the shore) and some coastal flooding. Even though this is a long duration event and the storm will linger through Thursday, the majority of this will be felt solely on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday at this point look like cloudy days with a few scattered showers. Maybe even some wet snow flakes as the storm pulls away. The big rain day is tomorrow. I know a lot of times you hear the words coastal storm and/or noreaster and immediately think snow. But this time around it looks like mainly a rain event.
