As you know my mother is born and bred in the Snowies, but recently her appaloosa horse died and at the age of 86 I was a little concerned that she would not bother to get another horse. Having been on a ride with you I believe she is now looking at getting one of her mares in foal. With the intention of getting it broken (something she used to do herself) and then riding again - maybe optimistic at 86, but I think that is awesome. You were incredible with her and your love for the Snowies was so nice to see. It certainly wasnt just a horseride but a reminder of why we enjoy riding in the bush so much (even though it was just a quick ride). It was also great to hear about your involvement with the Brumbies which is near and dear to our heart having grown up riding in the KNP.
