TWO NEW EXERCISE CLASSES AOA Low Impact Aerobics with Strength, Stretch & Flexibility - Offered by the YMCA at the Senior Center- Wednesday 9 AM—10:15 AM Start your mornings off on the right foot! Fitness with fun, energy & substance so don’t let the name fool you. Strength training is a great way to increase bone density to fight the effects of osteoporosis. The class will begin with a 30 min. low impact and strength aerobics followed by a 45 minute strength and flexibility program. All for only $5.00 a class and after the first class it is to be paid on a monthly basis. This class is being taught by the YMCA. The class fee could possibly be reduced depending on the class size. Drop-in cost is $6.00 a class. up as a total of 8 participants need to enroll in order for the class to fly! Remember this is a 1 ¼ hour long class. Join the fun. Beginner Qigong There have been many scientific studies on the benefits of self-practice Qigong. Benefits include stress reduction, lowered blood pressure, relief from depression and over-all improved feeling of health and well being. Join Patty James in a low key easy form of Quiong.
