Tabor Baptist Chapel, Llysfaen. Not used on a regular basis for a few years it has now officially closed. I was privileged to take services there for a number of years till I left the area in 1985. The service was on a Sunday afternoon and had a small congregation of 8 to 10 faithful members. Some of you from Llysfaen will know these people; Mrs Gwyn Evans and her son Gwyn who is now a Baptist Lay Preacher (His father Joseph Evans was also a preacher), Mr and Mrs. John Gordon Roberts of Manchester House, Mrs.Emrys Williams (One time lived at 19 Sefton Road), Maldwyn Davies (St. Davids Road), Rev. Dr. Denzil Morgan and Mrs. Morgan, (Denzil was a theological student at the time at Bangor Baptist College. His wife played the organ. Denzil is now one of Britains leading theologians and a writer of many books. There were others who attended whose names I do not remember.
