Tak jsme zpět z úspěšného turnaje, který se konal v maďarské metropoli - Budapešti. Oba české týmy se umístili "na bedně", Řádek/Mrňavý na třetím místě, Dohnal/Sýkora na místě druhém. Ani jeden z párů neměl cestu turnajovým pavoukem jednoduchou. Řádek/Mrňavý v prvním kole porazili dvojici Schmidt/Schmidt (úřadující mistr Maďarska/mistr Rakouska), dále pak dvojici Dundler/Kalizsky. V semifinále se utkali s pozdějším vítězným párem turnaje Posch/Tisch a podlehli až v rozhodující zkrácené hře po setech 6/4,4/6,4/10. Dvojice Dohnal/ Sýkora sehrála své první utkání proti domácímu maďarskému týmu startujícímu na divokou kartu s přehledem (6/1,6/3). Čtvrtfinálové utkání proti dvojici Kaibinger/Bozsik zvládl český tým na výbornou poměrem 6/4,6/4. V semifinále se český tým utkal s britským párem, kdy Češi čelili v závěrečné zkrácené hře čtyřem matchballům, které však Dohnal se Sýkorou dokázali odvrátit a postoupit do druhého finále během týdne výsledkem 6/4, 4/6, 12/10. Ve finále však český tým podlehl rakouské dvojici Posch/Tisch 6/1,6/2. So we are back from a successful tournament, which was held in the Hungarian capital city - Budapest. The two Czech teams were placed on the podium. Řádek/Mrňavý in third place, Dohnal / Sykora for second place. Neither of the couples had a easy way through the tournament. Řádek/Mrňavý in the first round, defeated a pair Schmidt / Schmidt (Hungarian champion for year 2013/ Austrian champion for year 2013), in quarter finals Czech team beat hungarian pair Dundler / Kalizsky. In the semifinals Czech team competed with the later tournament winners Posch / Tisch and lost in the third set tie-break after straight sets 6/4, 4/6, 4/10. Dohnal / Sykora played their match against Hungarian team playing on a wild card with winning result 6/1, 6/3. Czech team managed to get through the Quarter-final match against the pair Kaibinger / Bozsik with good result 6/4, 6/4. In the semifinals, the Czech team competed with the British pair McGabe/Wheeler, when the Czechs faced in the final set to four matchpoints, but Czech team saved all of it and after it, Czech team advanced to second finals in one week with final result 6/4,4/6, 12/10. In the finals was Czech team defeated by confidentally playing Austrian team Posch / Tisch with result 6/1,6/2.
